Biography

Working as a Professor and Senior Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist with Sub-Specialty in Reproductive Medicine, Head of the department both at Faculty of Medicine, Misrata University & Al-Jazeera International Hospital, Misrata, Libya. Born in Libya in the year 1969 and obtained the first Medical degree (MBBS) in 1994 from the University of Benghazi/(AL-Arab Medical University), Libya, also a Master degree of Medical Sciences in Assisted Reproductive Techniques (ART) , from Nottingham University, UK (2001), and a PhD from the University of Manchester, UK (2007), in addition to the Specialization degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology:{Arab Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (2005)}, and several other diplomas including: Diploma in Urogynecology & Pelvic Floor Reconstruction, American Association Professional Diploma in obstetrics & Gynecology Ultrasound, American Association Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Gynecology. Attended several advanced Courses: in {(IVF/ICSI), Leuven University Fertility Centre, Belgium for twelve weeks}, {Prolapse Surgery and Non-Descent Vaginal Hysterectomy, Nepalgunj University/Nepal for four weeks}, {Gynecological Endoscopic Surgery, Alexandria-Egypt}, Ultrasound courses in Turkey and those organized by {Egyptian Society of Maternal & Fetal Medicine}, Courses organized by International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology. Published 39 papers, and attended more than 300 Scientific Meetings, Seminars, Workshops, national and International Congresses since primary graduation, being an invited Speaker among some of them, also being as an editorial board member, reviewer, and member: of the Scientific Committees of several Local & International Journals and Conferences such as AAGL Minimally Invasive Gynecology Global Congress, U.S.A for many years, and recently for the RCOG Congress 2023, in addition to the membership of Professional Societies in field of Specialization.
